Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) was the eleventh topic in the Innovative Academy’s incubation series, featuring M. Amirullah, the CEO of Swaragama. Swaragama FM is a private radio station based in Yogyakarta, which began broadcasting on February 27th, 2000. Swaragama FM offers several programs tailored to accompany the activities of the Akademia Jogja, the affectionate term for its listeners. Broadcasting on the frequency 101.7 FM, Swaragama FM can be heard non-stop for 24 hours with the tagline “The Soundtrack of Your Life.”
Amir elaborated on the concept and strategies of integrated marketing communication suitable for startups. Additionally, he explained various aspects related to strategic marketing planning, defining communication objectives, targeting audiences, developing consistent messages, utilizing appropriate media, performance measurement, and adapting to changing market trends.
