The Health Innovation Sprint Accelerator (HISA) 2024, held on Monday, October 7, 2024, has selected three outstanding health technology innovations. This annual initiative, spearheaded by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes RI), aims to foster the growth of the health technology industry ecosystem through mentorship and the development of innovative healthcare solutions originating from various societal sectors.
HISA 2024 garnered significant enthusiasm, attracting more than 110 participants, each presenting their unique health technology concepts. “HISA 2024 has been a great achievement for us at the Ministry of Health, thanks to the enthusiasm of the participants and the smooth execution of the event,” stated Setiaji, Chief of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) at Kemenkes RI. From the total number of participants, three innovations were selected as the best, one of which was Inspirasien.
Inspirasien, a startup incubated by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), offers a digital health support platform focused on patient assistance. As part of its recognition, Inspirasien has been granted the opportunity to participate in the Health Sandbox program, which facilitates pilot testing and further development of digital health innovations to assess their feasibility within the healthcare sector. This opportunity also opens avenues for collaboration and partnerships with Kemenkes RI.
As a key milestone of the initiative, HISA 2024 aims to provide innovators with a platform to establish credibility and benchmarks in developing their health tech startups. “We expect that the contributions and participation of the innovators at HISA 2024 will drive improved accessibility, affordability, and efficiency in healthcare services through technology,” stated Rudy Kurniawan, Head of the Digital Health Ecosystem and Innovation Services Team at the Center for Data and Information Technology (Pusdatin), Kemenkes RI.
