Demo day marks the culmination of the incubation process by the Innovative Academy. Within a span of one semester, nine startups have emerged that have managed to persevere and secure the opportunity to engage in pitching sessions.
Virtual participation was extended to a panel of judges comprising diverse stakeholders on June 16th. This panel included notable figures such as Dara Mawar Jelita (Program Manager at Block-71 Yogyakarta), Sonny Kurniawan (General Manager at PT. GMUM), and Febrian (Program Manager at PT. GIB).
During this pitching process, each startup was allotted a limited time to convey their startup ideas while also highlighting their progress throughout the incubation program. Several startups excelled by delivering captivating presentations that showcased their strengths.
From this Demo Day process, three standout startups have been selected based on their exceptional pitching performances. These startups are Mudamudi.coop, Drivebox Tech, and Edus.id, with a focus on addressing issues related to providing sex education for children and adolescents. Through this initiative, it is anticipated that each chosen startup will optimize their developmental journey and maintain their sustainability in the times ahead. The top three startups will be awarded a golden ticket, granting them the opportunity to participate in pitching sessions within the PRIME STeP UGM: Startup Grant program.
