The Plan Indonesia Foundation is an organization engaged in the humanitarian field and advancing children’s rights. The Yogyakarta Founders Meetup was held to support startup businesses. This sharing session was held to answer the problems faced by startup businesses. Head of Marketing Communications Innovative Academy, Sebastian Alex Dharmawangsa, who is also the initiator of the Founder’s Meetup, said that the monthly sharing session is an event for startup enthusiasts, potential startup inventors, owners and people who are interested in being able to learn to control a business at a high development phase.
Startupedia Class is a business startup course for founders about basic knowledge in building startups. There are 7 modules, namely ideation and design sprints, lean canvas, learning to calculate valuations and fundraising, pitchdeck, and basic legality in startups.
Through the SEED Replicator program, you will be given guidance to take the first steps of starting your own business by studying existing business models
succeed!
Apart from that, participants can also network with fellow business activists and collaborate with successful eco-inclusive companies around the world!

The @techstars @startupweekend @ugm.yogyakarta mentoring session is assisted by seniors who are ready to help evaluate the business models of the participants.
After receiving criticism and suggestions through the mentoring stage and developing their ideas carefully, the participating teams then made a final presentation in front of the judges. The judges are tasked with giving an assessment to each team objectively. Interestingly, the judges didn’t just evaluate, but also gave constructive suggestions that the participants could implement even after the event had ended! Not infrequently the judges provide similar business references to make it easier for participants to benchmark.
