Yogyakarta, June 22, 2024 – Innovative Academy successfully held the Demo Day event at Eastparc Hotel, Yogyakarta (June 22). This highly anticipated event was attended by three competent judges in their respective fields: Dara Mawar Jelita from Block71, Ridha Nurul Azizah from PT Gama Inovasi Berdikari, and Sonny Ashadi from PT. Gama Multi Usaha Mandiri.
This Demo Day featured seven innovative startups that had successfully passed various stages of selection. The seven startups were Gema Phala Ananta and Eco3DPrint, which operate in the renewable energy sector; Begizi, Zona Farm, and Rasa Nusantara, which operate in the food sector; Indowarung and SINBI, which operate in the MSME sector; and Zona Farm, which also operates in livestock farming.
During the Demo Day, each startup was given 15 minutes to pitch before the judges and the audience. Following the presentations, the judges provided constructive comments and reviews for each startup, offering valuable insights and feedback for their future business development.
The event was filled with enthusiasm from participants and attendees. Each presentation demonstrated high levels of innovation and creativity, reflecting the significant potential of each startup. Out of the seven startups that presented, three startups achieved the highest scores from the judges. The evaluation parameters included innovation, market potential, business sustainability, and the team’s presentation skills. The top three startups that received the highest scores were Gema Phala Ananta, Zona Farm, and Eco3DPrint.
These three startups impressed the judges with their innovative ideas and convincing presentations. Gema Phala Ananta, with its carbon processing solution, showed great potential in enhancing productivity and efficiency in the energy sector. Zona Farm, operating in the livestock sector, presented innovations that could improve the quality and quantity of livestock products. Meanwhile, Eco3DPrint offered recycling solutions that promise sustainability and energy efficiency for the future.
The Demo Day event was not only a competition but also a platform for startups to learn and grow through the feedback and networking opportunities they received during the event. This event is expected to foster a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in Indonesia and positively impact the development of the startup ecosystem in the country.
