In the third week of the Innovative Academy Incubation, Yahya Ahmad, the Chief Operating Officer of Maukerja Indonesia, was invited to speak on the topic of “Rapid Prototyping.” Maukerja Indonesia is a startup based in Yogyakarta that provides career consulting services and directly connects job seekers with professional human resources.
In line with the inauguration of the Startup Incubation Program, Innovative Academy collaborated with Future Skills to organize an event on March 4, 2023, with the theme “Vision, Team Building, and Why Build a Startup.” The event was attended by 70 participants online and 21 participants in person. The activity lasted for 3 hours and included an introduction session, mentor presentations, discussion and Q&A sessions, as well as a mini-tour at Innovative Academy.
With the aim of developing and maturing the business sector and product development at advanced incubation stage startups, the Innovative Academy together with the Ministry of Cooperatives facilitated entrepreneurial incubation with the theme of the Survival Strategy and Marketing Communication Workshop.
The SOPREMA (Young Sociopreneur) incubation program involves young people aged 16-30 years, aims to contribute to solving social problems through social entrepreneurship, opens wide opportunities, encourages youth throughout Indonesia to share experiences in activities to stimulate the community’s economy. Young people are challenged to create business models by seeing social problems as opportunities to empower the community. The focus of SOPREMA is measuring the benefits that society derives from an entrepreneurial activity.
Visitation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (LIPK) Makassar State University at the UGM Entrepreneurship Development Service (EDS)
On Tuesday, 24th of Januari 2023, Entrepreneurship Development Service (EDS) UGM visited by Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (LIPK) of Makasar University in a benchmarking activity related to managing the Business Incubator program, Developing Student Entrepreneurial Potential, and Downstreaming Lecturer Entrepreneurial Potential.
The Beta School class is a class that focuses on preparing digital talents to work in startups. This class will add to the knowledge of lecture participants about the skills needed in startups, roles in startups, and discuss in depth issues that require innovation.
